What is a Webring?

A webring is an exciting and easy way to surf the net. Previously, if you wanted to view sites on a particular subject or theme, you entered a search on a search engine. Not all the sites that come up on the list actually have anything to do with what you searched for. A webring makes it easy. All the sites that form part of the ring have something in common, so e.g. the Pakistan Webring sites are all about Pakistan.

How do you navigate around a Webring?

A webring makes it easy. Once you enter a web site that is part of the webring, you will see a logo with links under it. The Next link enables you to go to the next site in the ring that is listed. A better way is to use the Random link. This will take you at random to another site in the ring. If you prefer to see a list of the sites in the ring, just click on the List link. Here you will see a list of all the sites that form the ring and (usually) keywords and descriptions about that site's content. It's as easy as that.
